During the 3D ultrasound we will show you the real appearance of your future baby. Moreover, during 4D ultrasound you can, in-time, observe its movements. Apart from 3D-4D scan we also assess fetal growth and anatomy. We are skilled in the care of complicated cases where additional 3D scanning allows us to perform more precise examinations of the brain, spine, skull, and other organs.
At the end of the scan we will share with you fetal weight and describe growth on charts on the computer. We will also explain to you the result of the scan. In case of an abnormal finding we would discuss with you the severity and consider options for further management.
The whole examination with counselling takes around 45 minutes and you are welcome to bring your partner or someone close to accompany you through the examination. You will obtain 3 printed colour images and a USB flash disk or DVD record of the whole ultrasound examination. We can record the video to the media provided by us or to your own USB flash drive. It is important that the flash drive must be unused, as we have to protect our ultrasound systems from malware. You can also purchase additional images of your baby for an extra fee of 50 CZK /piece. A detailed report with results will be sent to you by email within a week.
